GamaMóvil is an independent blog dedicated to helping you choose your next phone —Android or iPhone— and the gadgets that go with it (smartwatches, earbuds, chargers). We publish buying guides, rankings and tier comparisons with one clear goal: helping you get the purchase right without having to read twenty reviews.
Who writes this
One person writes it: Reiner Armas, founder and editor of gamamóvil. Software engineer. I write phone buying guides by cross-referencing specialist media testing with real market prices. Every article is signed, and the author page spells out the working method and how to get in touch with corrections.
How we choose and recommend
We're transparent about the limits of the method, because that's worth more than claiming a lab we don't have:
- We don't test the devices hands-on. We don't receive press units. What we add is technical judgement and source cross-referencing, not our own measurements.
- We cross-reference the people who do test them. We start from lab measurements by specialist outlets (GSMArena, Notebookcheck, DXOMark, Android Authority, Tom's Guide) and look for where they agree and where they contradict each other. If there's no consensus, we say so.
- We verify the data. We check prices and
specifications before publishing; approximate figures are marked with
~and guides cite the month of review. - We're honest about the cons. Every recommendation includes who it's for —and who it's not—.
- Living content. Rankings are reviewed every 4-6 weeks and updated articles carry a visible revision date.
