Big Deal Days (October 2026): What to Buy for Your Phone

Prime Big Deal Days run Oct 6-7. AirPods Pro 3, Apple Watch 11 and Anker chargers already have deals: what to buy, at what price, and what to skip.

Prime Big Deal Days run October 6-7 (Prime members only) and early deals are already live. My short advice: in October, buy accessories and watches, not the new phone. Fresh iPhones don’t drop, and Android phones do get cuts, but the year’s lowest price usually waits for Black Friday. Prices are Amazon US, in dollars, as the press reported them in recent days; they can change without notice, so check the screen before you pay.

AirPods Pro 3: the clearest iPhone discount

With active noise cancelling and a heart-rate sensor, they’re the logical buy if you already live in Apple’s ecosystem. ~$199 against $249 is a 20% saving. Downside: they work on Android, but you lose what makes them special (automatic device switching, deep settings integration).

Apple Watch Series 11: ~$100 off and just superseded

Apple introduced the Series 12 on September 9, so the Series 11 sits at ~$299 (GPS, 42 mm), $100 under its list price. For ECG, rhythm alerts and sleep tracking the jump to the 12 isn’t big. Full detail in our best Apple Watch by budget guide. Downside: iPhone only.

Anker Prime: charging without tangled cables

Anker launched 25 W Qi2.2 chargers and has them marked down: the foldable 3-in-1 stand is ~$100 (list $150). It’s one of the few deals with a third off. Heads-up: 25 W is only reached by compatible Qi2.2 phones; an older one charges slower. And if your phone supports neither Qi2 nor MagSafe, the magnet won’t stick and it isn’t worth it.

Anker Prime 200 W power bank

At ~$104 (list ~$130) it’s a serious power bank, but 200 W is overkill for a phone: it makes sense if you also charge a laptop or tablet. If it’s only for your phone, a smaller power bank saves weight and money; see how to choose a power bank.

Budget pick: JBL Tune Buds

~$50 against a $100 list price: half off. It’s the option if you want decent earbuds without paying premium. Downside: the noise cancelling isn’t at AirPods or Sony level; for that step up, see our earbuds ranking by budget.

And the phones?

Specialist press reports cuts: the 256 GB Galaxy S26 with ~$100 off and the 128 GB Pixel 10 Pro around ~$680-800 depending on the moment and color. The chart shows the list prices we use as a reference:

List price of the phones with the biggest Big Deal Days cuts

Galaxy S26 Ultra$1,399.99Galaxy S26$999.99Pixel 10 Pro$999Pixel 10desde $799
Original chart built from the data in our tier comparison.

The takeaway: the gap between the S26 and the S26 Ultra is what moves most with sales. If you’re torn, compare them in the comparison tool and decide with the Top 10 Android phones. Don’t expect anything on the iPhone 18 Pro: it just launched.

How not to fall for a “discount”

  1. Compare with the price from 30-60 days ago, not the list price.
  2. An early deal can repeat on Oct 6-7 or improve on Black Friday (Nov 27); if your current phone works, waiting costs nothing. More in when phones get cheaper.
  3. For the Watch and AirPods, stock of the cheaper configurations goes fast.

Bottom line: AirPods Pro 3 ($199), Apple Watch Series 11 ($299) and the Anker foldable charger (~$100) are the soundest discounts today; for a new phone, better wait for November.
